Been a while since I took out the G1 to play. Almost couldn't get use to the 7-14mm lens. All the following are in-camera processed JPEG photos (except whatever Picasa did to reduce the image size), mostly set on Dynamic Mode with Saturation+2, Contrast+2

Camera: Panasonic
Model: DMC-G1
ISO: 100
Exposure: 1/160 sec
Aperture: 4.0
Focal Length: 7mm

Did a test when I took RAW+Jpeg. Apparently RAW files are 4018x3016 when loaded by Picasa while the Jpeg equivalents are nicely 4000x3000.

Camera: Panasonic
Model: DMC-G1
ISO: 100
Exposure: 1/50 sec
Aperture: 9.0
Focal Length: 7mm
Jpeg: Dynamic with saturation+2, contrast+2

Final test. Saturation+2, Contrast+2 is not the same on all modes. For example, when I use the Dynamic vs My Film One (both with Sat+2,Con+2)

thanks thanks (=
actually i just used IA mode but in Black and White mode. was quite surprised it turn out quite well too ;)

Would anyone care to post more images from either the G1, GH1 or GF1 using "vivid film mode" ?
It is written in the G1 manuals that "shutter speed may become very slow" using film mode. How true is this ? Wouldn't it be a hindrance if one is to shoot under film mode all the time?
