Nice use of this macro lens, had it for a while during EPL1 days :)

Hey bro, yeah decided that a zoom with a macro function would suit me more than my ex Oly 60mm macro. Decent enuff for most butterfly and dragonfly shots as I can maintain some distance from them. Main issue is handling. Still struggling if at times a tripod is better but I did use it with tripod once and don't like it coz maneuvering can be tricky. So mostly with a monopod. I'm trying to improve my steadiness cos many shots can see some motion blur when zoom in.

Nice pics.

I was wondering if there is any way to make the logo/wordings on top of the Buildings eg like "Maybank" to be clear, crisp and sharp ?

Thanks
Thanks.
It's actually clear to me...you can click on the flickr and have a look. I could use a GND to help as well, but this shot was single shot without filter.

Another methods would be blending, which requires software like photoshop or gimp.

Ya handling was a problem pre-EM days, plus the AF for normal usage wasn't fast, I did realise macro wasn't my preferred genre too :) Have fun with the lens.

EM5II 12-40. Some pp on lightroom. Wish the lens has better starbursts. Actually a livecomposite file.

12-40 has 7 Blade. If you increase the aperture high enough, the starburst should be pretty obvious. I can't read your exif, so I have no idea what is your setting.

A model I worked with in the studio a few weeks back. A really pleasant girl to work with. Shot with OMD E-M1 and 12-40mm
