good thing i didn't try to get too close. else, my viewfinder would've been completely filled just by JLo's sweet @$$




unusually heavy usage of spotlights compared to other concerts. boon for ISO but had to fiddle a lot with exposure. i was constantly swinging from -0.7 to -3 EV using centre-weighted metering, but that was still easier than relying on the immovable spot metering.

against my better judgement, i experimented with C-AF+Tr at first. it was crap and i missed quite a number of really great photo moments. it achieves lock quickly enough but randomly starts to hunt again, then for some reason it seems to prefer to re-acquire lock on the male dancers :dunno:
