Oic, it looks too quiet to be evening, weekend evening is so different, hope the hype stays. Oh ya quite many small flies, not dragonflies though:)

Burj Khalifa
EM5, Samyang FE7.5, ISO200, f9, 6s. Corrected in LR. Wondering if a 7-14 would've been able to capture this better, framing wise. Seem to lose some 'resolution?" after correcting "bendy effects"

Oh, i was told that I couldn't use my sirui T-025 tripod here by a security guy.

is the Burj leaning right? :)

Hmmm lens distortion on the samyang? The Burj shot is crispy! And this was handheld!?!

Chinatown Street Photos

Took a short walk in Chinatown. The triggering of the shutter release using the touch screen works wonders for street photography.

The Oly 12-50mm kit lens is really handy for taking food pics. I used to snap food pics with the PL 25mm f/1.4 but the problem with it is that in a very confined space, the distance between the lens and the food is too close for focusing. The 12-50mm on the other hand allows for a very close focusing distance when set in macro mode. At the same time, since the macro mode switches the lens to 43mm, it also allows u to grab a shot of the plate across the table easily... very convenient!

Thanks! Managed to prop the camera on some railings around the lake. Was kind of scared the cam would drop into the lake, as I had to prop the camera at the edge so as to not get the railing in the picture because of the fisheye lens.
