Silhouette
OMD + 45mm f5 1/800 ISO 200
I can still see the buildings details try if you're using LR try increasing the blacks and contrast few more to make the building darker this would result to a more silhoutte effect
And I see your Exif you're shooting f5 try pushing this a bit to f8 so you can have a much sharper sun and clouds
cheers enjoy your great toy EM5 (I'm still cant afford to get this cam maybe when i get my year end bonus hehehe)
Thanks a lot for your comments and suggestions. I actually bracket the shot and found that i like this one best. Its not completely silhouettey as you can still see some details on the buildings, and different shades of black, grey, dark gray on different buildings, ... which i thought brings some dimension to the picture which is otherwise 2 dimensional.
I know i should have used GND filters,.. maybe 0.9, but i dont have one yet. And i didnt do any post processing. This shot was straight out of camera jpg.
I didnt mention that i adjusted the S curve for highlight/shadow to +3/-3 to distinguish the contrast... but i guess you are right... f8 would have gotten the sun sharper as the focus was on the buildings.
I am still learning more about the new toy.lots of stuff to explore. Wish i have more time playing with it.
I'm also learningyou got a nice cam and lens to play around enjoy and shoot more

Still looking at 2 primes .... 12mm and 25mm summilux
and probably 40-150mm for long zoom. Then my lens collection would be sufficient for any scenarios.![]()
I'll try to make it for kopi this saturday....
25mm bro get it you wont regret it. 12mm still a bit too expenssive for mebut I would like to have this for landscape
