[ Showcase ] - Images from Olympus Micro 4/3 cameras

i been dreaming for this idea for years and thats the reason I still have all the old zukio lens...

sick of the 12 to 50mm alr., just ordered m mount , pen f and om adapters for some nice bokeh balls ..

SP of myself

Maybe in few years time? Since Olympus DSLR is almost dead, they might as well go FF with compact camera.

It's weird for Sony, Nikon or canon to produce a compact FF body, it probably hurt their FF DSLR sales.

Sell the 12-50 and fund the upcoming 12-35mm f2.8 X :)

Hi Oly, thanks for the tips will go and try out this weekend ..:) New to this micro 4/3 world..it is real amazing that this tiny camera can do so much..:)

That's an interesting comment, as a long term Olympus user - I have almost every model starting at OM-1 which I received new as a 21st birthday present [my choice] and almost the same comment was made back then, the camera was about half the weight and size of the other brands at the time and had the same, if not better, functionality

Surprisingly, the 12-50 is a very nice lens to hold, especially for a lady.

Another lizard shot... poor lizard was so stressed me stalking the poor creature.

Lens setup is a bit crazy Tamron 70-300 USD version (pls see the gears photo above) this is bigger and newer version of the tamron 70-300 1:2 macro lens. mounted on my EPL2 via Sony mount to m4/3 adaptor with aperture control. Its not easy shooting at 300mm the shake is really bad manage to rest my gear on top of the concrete wall just to take these shoots. To make things worst is manual focusing hehe its fun and its hard also.

All shots are wide open ISO I think 400 and 800 :-( just to help boost the shutter speed to reduce the shake.

Cannot resist and brought the 12mm f2.

Smaller and actually balance well with OM-D .

Wah, the lizard stressed until neck black black...

Anyway, very sharp woah, where got shake???

OK one final :o:o:o from me and that's it. Let's move on.

theITperson can be whoever he or she likes or wear whatever he or she likes. Let's not discriminate. :)

yeah bro the lizard was indeed very stressed by me stalking it. this was like 9/10feet away... I have some shots at ISO200 that the IBIS can no take it anymore as shutter speed was around 1/40-1/50 and doing MF was hard to keep still at 300MM. :-) these are the few shots I manage to capture with no shake as I bump up the ISO to help with the shutter speed.

This is one under rated lens I guess it was due to the 1st Tamron lens 70-300 1:2 Macro with is cheap and so-so, this was the newer and more refined version wuth Utra Sonic Drive (USD) The lens is pretty sharp bro specially when step down a bit i think the sweet spot is 7.1 or f8 I've a moon shot with this but can't post here coz used A77 to take the shot lolz.

I just realized using 4/3 sensor and using 300mm lens is not very easy must start to use monopod or tripod :(

Actually I think there's rumors of Nex FF but let's not digress and stay with EM5 pictures. Haven't seen anyone using the art filters, i think the keyline is pretty fun.

Yeah, the keyline is particularly fun. Didn't really had time to shoot in the day, so just made do with stuff around my room :
