wow!!! are u shooting them in raw files???

i am using the kit 12 to 50mm , not very impressive actually.

unlike my leica files or cannon files , any tips from all the pros here???

this is my 1st olympus m 4/3 but i own pen f , ft and om body :)

Very nice series! I particularly like the first one, with the reflections off the water.

Sharing some long exposure shots with 9-18. EPL1 & EPL2 mixed.

Can post some of ur not very impressive pics. I heard that oly jpeg pics are suppose to be good straight from camera

Just adding some pics I shared on another thread. All with the 12-50. I did not pixel peep, but it seems to be decent and versatile lens.

ok sure

to be honest , my 5D jpeg is alot better than OM-D but i love using the OM D. Its a compact camera on steroids.

I like to be honest , the image quality not as good as my M8 and my 5D in terms of micro contrast, details and lens..

Great Pics~!

Like your indoor pics alot. I'm having some trouble with the White Balance, Mind sharing your white balance setting?

Thanks....these are just some snapshots I took quickly to show how the camera is.

All the photos are shot in JPEG only. No RAW. There is no need to shoot RAW for this kind of thing. In addition, I find that if I shoot RAW, I can never process the colours to how it looks like in JPEG without going thru OV2 which I do not like. It is damn slow. WB is set to Auto and Noise Filter is set to off. I shot them in Aperture mode and maybe Program Mode. ISO set to Auto. And I left my WB - keep warm colour to ON. Hope this helps. I have shot a lot more since, and its a great camera and allows me to focus on creating pictures instead of thinking about the camera. Dynamic range is definately better from my observations. And I like being able to see what I would get on the EVF before the shot is taken. Really really good!

Very nice. How many sec exposure? and the ND filter stop?

I'm a noob in photography, here's 2 pix which I think looks pretty nice, thanks to the nice lightings on that day.

Hi Oly, thanks for the tips will go and try out this weekend ..:) New to this micro 4/3 world..it is real amazing that this tiny camera can do so much..:)

Hi CrimsonS, thanks! Twig shot is F16, 10sec shot. ND is 4 stops, the slowest I had without stacking which will induce some color casting maybe hard to PP. I didn't have luxury of time to mount another filter as well. Sunrise is that short a window. The other shot is 5sec, F9.
Both shots are at 9mm.

thanks !!! the handling of OM-D is great . Really fast !!!
