A few shots with a friend's oly m43 14-150mm. Quick review as well. What i like - lightweight, fast AF (much faster than mmf2+40-150mm), quiet AF, and also sharp wide open, non-rotate front element so can put filters. Dislike: a bit long and slow (f4-5.6), but something has to give for a >10times zoom which is so light. If i need speed, i will use primes.

No PP for any of shots below. Taken with EP2.

At 150mm wide open f5.6, it's sharp! Didn't really do test with 40-150, but it's sharpness gd enuf for me.

Nothing special in this shot, I just love oly jpeg colours, especially for sky.

I love how the lens render on the EPL-1. Thanks for sharing.

My pleasure to share here, microcosm.

More from E-PL1 ...

Here is the same scene with the Lumix 20mm at f/1.7 and ISO 400. I found this 20mm, on any Pen, to have paler colors especially with skin, so this is boosted in pp a bit.
Maybe this lens was designed for "paleface" folks, to borrow a Native American epithet :-).

And a Sentosa shot, Zeiss C/Y 50mm f/1.7 again at ISO 200, f/2.8 or f/4, from a distance, cropped.

Maybe... but I feel that Panasonic cameras and lens combo tends to excel towards video where they are really strong in... but I might be wrong.

Though the Leica 45mm generally worked well on the E-PL2, I found that it had problems focussing at times (but not always) when closed up and needed to be refocussed further away and then moved back to the closed up position to focus properly. No such problem when used on the GF2.

Brought some tourist friends to Chinggay, but only stayed for about 20 minutes. Still managed to take some pics between heads of people :-).
I guess the rest of the people had already camped out there long before the start of the show.

All E-PL1, using Zeiss 50mm at f/2 to 2.8, all ISO 800

Firecracker performers, and firecrackers exploding all around. I really couldn't see, lots of smoke and debris flying around,
but the camera penetrated the smoke better than the naked eye to capture an image
