There is a original black paint rigid Summicron version 1 with scallop focusing ring to match your black paint M3. Rigid summicron version 1 produced from 1956 to 1968, similar age to your M3, is a very built carry around 50mm, it produces medium contrast, sharp definition and fine textural detail.
I love the M3, a very fine piece of camera. Mine serial # over 1mil (Yr 1963) with L seal in tact, shutter speed function perfect and the lever advance smooth like butter. Best M in my view for 90mm lens, focus better due to its biggest 0.91VF (means bigger magnification in the viewfinder) and therefore longest effective baseline.
Silver chrome M3 + silver chrome 90mm Elmarit last version + VC meter
Just take your time slowly to hunt for your collection, focus on what you want, buy only at reasonable price. Its another fun by itself apart from photography, Dr. Gommy can endorse that for sure.

Thanks for the advice bro.. Yeah, sometimes it's hard to slow down. I love your M3. Looks pretty mint to me. Just bought a Sekonic L308 Light meter, so will play around with that. I will take my own sweet time with my first roll of film on the M3. Wanna really focus on my compositions. Still got half a roll left on my R4s too. With the M8, I find myself using film less.

Summarit wide open, contrasty is low, smooth lowering of contrast going from centre to corners, flare prone, but produce a present type of imagery soft portrait looks...
