M2, Canon 50mm f1.4 LTM.

I love this lens for color film.

Thanks Bro. The lens is hefty and wonderful. Hope it takes good pictures. Just tested the lens and will show some pics later. Cheers. :)

Cool stuffs. I am waiting for my evilbay Nikkor 8.5cm f2 LTM to arrive in order to take some nice pics.

Sounds like M3 is calling you.:bsmilie:

M3??? Not sure if I can live without using a meter. Too dense for Sunny16 and too lazy to carry a seperate light meter. I like the VC meter II but unfortunately, it's not coupled with the camera speed dial.

Leica Meter MC or MR4 couples with the M3 perfectly. Problem solved.

However, the Zeiss Ikon is the only modern RF with a 85mm frameline although the M3's 90mm frameline will come close enough. alternatively, there's the Canon LTM RF with 85mm framelines. A screw mount 50mm Summilux pre ASPH will look perfectly at home on these bodies as well.

Cheers,

Ok, Ok, ZoomP, pictures to tempt you.:bsmilie::sweat::lovegrin: I took them a few minutes ago just for YOU!
It's called Crackle Paint Finish- there's some texture, NOT the usual smooth Black Paint.
A little bit like the Hammerstone. It is really unique, and I've not seen another Black Painted Leica like it!
This is painted by the legendary Shintaro of Japan.
According to our local DAG, Mr Philip Tay, it is very exquistely and finely painted. And workmanship first class. A world apart from those that he has seen done in America!!
You can also focus with BOTH eyes open cos of the 0.92xVF of M3. Oh, 0.92xVF is very good for the Canon85mm you've just gotten- more accurate focusing!! hehehehe......
Oh, Serial number also passed 1 million and thus supposedly better & more coveted. hahahaha........

The Perfect Match: Black Painted M3 + Black MR meter + Rigid Summicron 50mm

OMG. look at that TEXTURE. i cant imagine how my fingers would feel, stroking over it. wahhhhh......:p

I'm feeling it right now! It's really nice!...........Ahh! It's smoothness with character! Shiok!!
Best thing is that you don't get any finger print marks on it!
Hey, ZoomP, this is another plus point for you- you can't leave mark on the camera...hehehehe....

The Shintaro black paint M3 + MR Meter and a Rigid Summicron is a really nice combination.

If your finance allow, please own it.:)
