YOL925.... NICE!

Hardly see modern SM lenses around.

my humble start.....:)

cheers....

Clubgrit... your Leicas nice nice...

OK.. here's my M6 with a cheaper "Giodano jacket" ...

Thanks. Oh, yes, Leica Ms look great for sure (at least to us), but that is only secondary to me. I only use them because of what they're best known for, like for one are the B&W negatives that come out from them, which have lived up to their reputation. So I wouldn't mind an LHSA M6 TTL, which according to Cameraquest is the best choice for M6 TTL shooters (not collectors), hope they're right.

Why not a Voigtlander lens on your Leica :) ? My well-used M4 just arrived (although it feels and looks clean now), will try to post a pic with my favorite 35mm lens, the high-performance Voigtlander pancake. Or would that be heresy in this thread ? :bsmilie:

BTW, will your "Giodano" jacket fit a Yashica Electro GSN (affectionately called "little man's Leica") ?

.

Wow... both very clean and nice still. I am thinking of getting a M3!

Anyone got a battered and abused Leica?

They are the ideal pair for me. I use the lens too cos I can't fight the temptation not to!

'It's a skating rink!' That's what my friend said when he saw the bright marks all over the body. Must be the riverts on my jeans. I don't recall my M6 black to have this problem though.

The TKO happened one day when I thought I had the strap of the camera but it was actually my bag handle. The sound of metal clunking on hard tarmac never hurt so good!

I presume the GSN is the same size as the MG-1. I tried to fit my Yashica MG-1 but seems like my Giodano jacket is too tight fitting for the oversized MG-1. Guess the fat Yashica got to go for a size XXL.

Sorry for the delay. I was searching high and low for my images, in the end, I have to retake a new set of image. This is a Canon f.0.95 lens which was fitted to the model Canon 7/7s but the lens was so expensive, few photogs could afford it, so they were used for TV & movie making projector. Many movies were made using this lens for the night scence without having to use spot lights.
This lens was taken from the movie film projector. I did some modification to the lens mount to fit my Leica M6. Opening the f.stop wide to f.0.95, the dof is really wafer thin.I have taken some photographs with this lens fitted to my M6, using f0.95 is just as difficult as using Leica f1.0 Noc.lens.
Here is the  opener. Enjoy.

Wah! say "Chay" ah! The one Leica M6 fitted with Canon 0.95 existed in Singapore .;) There are only a few existed around the world.;p

Noctilux, common lens, you either hate it or love it, I had two types, sold both of them. Can do without them.

Come, cocoa, I invite you,we go out and shoot together, bring your camera you show here, I would love to hold it once again, which brings back lots of memory. Don't worry, I will use my glove to hold it. You can also use my camera.

MUAHAHAHA!! Me no interest in shooting with canon lens.

BTW, canon 0.95 lens IS a very common lens. There are many currently available at eBay. Do a search. All way below US$1K. so claim that yrs is the only one in SG is err...:bsmilie:

This is one of them, Bosenli

If I have to shoot with non-Leitz lens (aka Leica copy lens), this Nikkor is way better: (In the JS's, I mean Russian's spirit of BIG IS BEAUTIFUL)

OK, it's a Japanese lens, but it is at least a good Sonnar copy and a well known sharp lens.
More about it by Dante Stella, HERE

I have my doubts you have the Leica M black you showed:(....err:bsmilie:

Anyway, I am going shooting and producing images, that's what cameras are made for.
