Imagine creamy bokeh that is unmatched! Imagine 105mm in a small compact size. Imagine that it was so good, the design was carried over to the Nikon F mount cameras. Imagine a Sonnar done right! But no need to imagine, LTM lens is available here! :bsmilie:

If Hacker sell anything, I always have priority. Anyone else is No2. :bsmilie::bsmilie:

You can get the Nikkor 35mm f1.8 in LTM! Yes, this is the original, the first, and considered *THE* best. The UC is the copycat of this lens. And yes, we can help you. Tell Gommy you want his second set, quote Hacker buddy price and get $1000 off! Serious!

Of course, if you prefer the limited edition S-Nikkor SP 2005, I will source for you a new one. Just get ready US$2000. Operators are waiting....

joshlty, pm me for Hacker Buddy's price if you are interested in my Nikkor3.5cmf1.8 LTM.:)
Quick, I'm about to trade with someone for a Hektor.

The link is from Zen Shooter in RRF who is a Nikon man, and for good reasons. Zen Shooter paid more than US$2000 for the adapter to mount the S-Nikkor 50mm Millennium lens on his Leica. Why? The Millennium Nikkor is sharper than the Leica ASPH at the center! The silver lens belongs to Gommy below to show the LTM version against the Millennium Nikkor.

I find the Nikkor5.0cmf1.4(the grandfather of the Millennium) very interesting & I like it very much. It has got 2 personalities. It "glows" very nicely at f1.4 and when stopped down to f2, it is mighty sharp but maybe not as sharp as the modern Millennium. Moreover, you don't need any special adapter just a normal LTM adapter:) I'm not into these special adapter stuff, like Hacker-only LTM:bsmilie:

Gommy's lens is the super rare black ring on chrome :eek:. The black ring you see near the front is *NOT* a filter. It is the black ring of the Nikkor LTM.

It is so sad that Nikkor LTM lenses are harder to get, especially the black ones. Nikkor's are so good, even present lenses have a hard time trying to beat the older ones as Nikon already mastered the art of coating.

BTW, Nikon made and still makes its own glass! So if you can find one that actually can work with your Leica,.

http://www.taunusreiter.de/Cameras/Canon_RF_e.html#NIKKOR-P.C._2.5105cm_LTM

This (my) lens is from about 1958, the fastest lens in the 100mm area then. Not a lightweight due to the thick middle-lenses but well-balanced at a solid camera like the Canon P The mounting with alloy and nice and durable black enamel. In due time no manufacturer in the world beats Nikon's manufacturing quality of glasses and corpus. You will not see it again either with older or newer lenses. It's an unsurpassed peak level.. The NIKKOR rangefinder lenses are getting more and more expensive, searched by all collectors in the world. Fanciers now look for Nikon-F lenses, also well finished. Prices will not come back to that low level again..!

The Nikkor 2.5/105 has the reputation of being one of the best portrait-lenses ever. multiple altered mounting for SLR product line, the optical design stays unchallenged except one minor change 1971 to the present. I beg even in today's econmy class with plastic mounting it will dispose more pleasure and nice pictures to their users than a pervasive standard 28-80mm zoom."
