That's unfair, I am looking for one of those!!!!!!!!!

I am first on your list when you decide to sell...;)

Haha...Bro, someone already choped first but doubt I will ever sell it though. I believe you can still pay premium for one from Cameraquest.

Just picked this one up today

WOW....the ULTIMATE "POCKET ROCKET".......will look even better on a black lacquered Leica II BARNACK...

Did you remove the M-mount yourself...care to share how you achieve the RF calibration without sending it back to MS-Optical? Base on some shimming the mount using stickers?

Tried it on a Leica III...need to unscrew the little focusing knob to screw in the lens...a Leica II without the the slow speed knob will be perfect...

Yes, I removed the M-mount. On a Barnack, the PERAR lens would back-focus like crazy and the secondary RF image cannot reach infinity by a long mile. I guess shimming might work but it is a clumsy mod at best. Since I like the PERAR lens so much I get one of my spare IIIf to marry it. What I did was simply adjusting the horizontal RF screw to off-set for the back focusing such that the double image aligns at a far object (1-2km is good approximate for infinity). After that shoot one test roll and it turns out all sharply in focused! Guess the great DOF of the triplet helps here as well.

I think on a Leica II, a nickel plated 3.5cm f3.5 lens would be much better in the look department. It's really not much bigger than the PERAR but it's a Leica lens. I have a close-focus version which is way cooool.

The CL has served me well and it's honestly a great camera for a newbie to pick up RF! But alas don't we all know the journey doesn't stop there. Just a poor student so this CL's gotta go to make way for this newly-acquired M2. I'm hoping this will last me a lifetime.

First 'proper' M body - it's probably just the beginning ... :S

More of my M2. Apologies, but just doing my tiny part for some camerapron

3rd party hood came in the mail today.
Jupiter-8 has returned from Brian Sweeney - can't wait to see some photos taken with it!
Strap handmade by seller on Esty - a bit rough around the edges but I think it's got character and it's growing on me.

Sharing my humble 50mm setup

Hahaha, I heard that before...

I know but I am not desperate enough to pay US$350 for a small viewfinder...

Haha...looks like instead of getting the lens mount calibrated...you have the camera calibrated to suit the lens...:bsmilie:...thinking out of box...
