Topcor5cmf1.5: My Topcor Twin. They are supposed to be Half Sonnar
Those who love Canon50mmf1.5 will love this lens  Oh, except for Hacker, he only loves Sonnar, not 1/2 Sonnar like this one. Maybe he needs two to make a FULL Sonnar so he can be satisfied. :bsmilie::bsmilie:

You should stop showing this picture! As it is, it's hard enough to find one of these. And you have two!!!!!!!!!! I'm really tempted but I should know better.

Cheers,

Congrats! Swee ah....how many more before you complete the Canon?

Loads more. Depending on whether I consider marking variants as separate individual lens. If I focus on just distinctive lens design, then maybe another seven or so.

Then there's always accessories such as hoods, finders, caps, closeup lenses, cases... the list is endless. Perhaps I should reconsider...

Cheers,

Hacker, could you post medium size images? These large ones really mess up the browser scrolling in smaller screens. :) Thanks.

need to get lots of tissue when looking at this thread.. nose bleed :sweat::sweat:

Daikoku, 55mm f1.2 . gd stuff, never look for a 50mm f1.2??? its alot sharper and brighter u know.

somehow now am not looking for sharpness cos that can be quite easily achieved with most lens these days... so happen a 55 came by at "quite" good prices so i took it..but kinda worried about the radioactive element..keke

Have Topcor also leh....

This is the plain jane type. Let Gommy show you the real collectable ones! :bsmilie:

Even I was tempted to start a Topcor series after playing with it for a while. Exceptional built quality and great results from the optics. Wonder why they are not as popular in the West...

Cheers,

Oh.. there is the Darth vader one. It's big, black and thick! Maybe I'll get a picture when I have the chance!

Wow, finally got it!

Still missing the Canon 135mm f/3.5. If all goes well, it should be off the list in 2 weeks.

Phallic symbol more like it...lol...

Aiyo.. How can be Phallic symbols? Some of us fondle our equipment quite often you know...:bsmilie:

Cheers,

Ok Benny, my "not plain jane" Topcor 50mmf2.0.:)
They are non-identical twin (both cosmetically & optically unlike the identical f1.5 twin that I showed earlier).
All chrome is type 1, chrome & black (rare-I call Panda-type) is type 2:

Wah!!! Hail the KING of exotic RF lenses!!! I think I'll take my Leica bits and stuff it.

Jokes aside, is there any performance difference between the two? Understand that there were some adjustments to the optics.

Cheers,
