Wow...more poison...look at this early version hood and the viewfinder...really one of the kind...

Mike,

how u find it against the new hexanon?

Francis

Sorry Francis, I've not seen a pic taken with the early Hex but I'm sure the modern should give better images but I'm not sure about the OOF rendition.
Look at the aperture-many blades so is very round even when stopped down, probably you'll get better bokeh. That's the beauty of some of the older lenses especially Japanese ones, like the Tanar50mmf1.5. The newer lenses even the Noctilux f1 as well as f0.95, one or 2 stops down, you'll start to see that the "bokeh balls" are no longer round!

Oh... this is nice! Not to many around. It has a different filter size compared to the 5cm f/1.4 right?

Cheers,

Wow...so minty...chrome and black paint...truly the Canon collector of Singapore...

My chicken peanut assortment pales in comparison to even the most casual of your purchases.

Here's one of my favorite again, the Voigtlander Bessa R4A.

Interesting to note that the full frame correspond approximately 19mm from left to right with a bit of space to spare on the top and bottom. So the RF coupled Canon 19mm f/3.5 LTM works quite well even without the external viewfinder.

Cheers,

Nice lens. I got the same set from Gommy. No box or cap though. Haven't play with it long enough unfortunately.
