Should I buy 5D MkIII now?

If this is a concern to you , then I suggest you stay out from buying first until Canon give a fix on that. Other than that, if the light leak is not an issue for you, then by all means go and buy without regrets. :)

I agree with Ahpan, if ure worried, wait lor. If no patience to wait, then plunge and buy. I guess cents and dollars is your main issue then wait is the best option. Question is, how long can u wait? I'm not so sure about the light leak thing, din notice anything amiss. I shoot for fun anyway~

Agree with above posters. If not in a hurry anyway, I would just wait for Canon to provide proper closure to the aforementioned issues.

Thanks for your opinions bros!

Err.. does it mean the light leak thingy only affect the auto exposure metering?

Like that I can heck care le, always manual exposure.. muahahaha...

y would you need to do that? i dont shoot with the lcd amd lens cap on. in fact i only look into the lcd to see which WB, af mode and metering i am using.

iso, shutter speed and aperture is displayed through the view finder.

What I mean is that if the LCD leak issue only affect the auto metering, then it does not matter to me at all cos I always set exposure manually. ^^

If worries, just wait for a solution, and buy a bug free set then....
