It appears that there are plenty of Butts out there, on my 5 hour walk in NSPL , Upper Thomson and USR on Friday the following species were sighted:.

Great Mormon

Red Helen

Banded Swallow Tail

The Common Tree Nymp

Puddling female Cruiser ..........first time seeing a female puddle

Malay Lacewing

ArchDuke

Dot Dash Sergeant

Purple Bush Brown

Lesser Harlequin , one male and one female on different location

Unidentified Lascar

Horsefiled Baron

Purple Duke

Yamfly

Red Flash

Little Maplet... multiple

Green Oakblue , one male one female

Semaga superba deliciosa

White Royal

Suffused Flash

Yellow Flash

Sumatran Gem ... multiple

Poritia philota philota

Common Snow Flat

Dark Blue Jungle Glory

A few yet to be ID Arhopalas and Telicota skippers

So there are plenty of butts out there....go get them! :)

The Arphopala is one of the most difficult to identify unless it is accompanied with an upper wing shot.......... post it at ButterflyCircle , some of the Arphopala experts there might be able to help.
