Sharing A Few Butterflies Part VIII

Hm, speaking of this butterfly, I have a story to tell.
I was strolling around taking random photos in Pasir Ris Park back in 2007 when a group of 4 excited gentleman (can’t recall if there was a lady among them too) came to me and motioned me to whip out my camera take a photo of this butterfly (thinking back, I believed they didn’t have cameras with them then). At that time, my knowledge on butterflies was limited and didn’t realize it was rare so I casually took a few photos only. At the same time, they got yet another fellow photographer to shoot the butterfly too. One of them told me the name of this butterfly but I found it hard to remember. I could only remember the word “blue”. Haha. It was only after a research back home then I realize it’s none other than the Blue Nawab.
On my subsequent visits to the park till now, I have not a chance to shoot it again.
