If you are at Ubin, head for Butterfly Hill and you should be rewarded with a few species .

Sunny's right. There were lots of butts around at Ubin's Butterfly Hill last week. Just be mindful though that because of Vesak Day, you may encounter a bigger than usual crowd heading for Ubin this long weekend. Here's a shot taken at Butterfly Hill when we were there. :)

Just for the benefit of those who has yet to see a RBB , this will give you an idea of how huge the butterfly is comparing to a Jay.:)

With a wing span of 16.5 cm ( 6.5 inches), you literally have to stand back to keep it within the frame......

This shot was taken over the weekend at Perak , Malaysia.
