Hi, can anyone confirm if this is the dark posy?

Yes, this looks like a Dark Posy. The black stripes on the hindwings are not filled in with black as in the Common or Pygmy Posys.

You can read an article comparing the 3 Posys found in Singapore here.

We are bogged down with red tapes for an organised effort to save this species.

http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=320577

This is purely a personal effort :

14 adults that eclosed this morning will be released onto site A later in the day , weather permitting .

In hand another 40 odd pupae awaiting eclosion and 50 cats at 3rd instar.

Due to the red tapes and difficulties involved in getting the various authorities to walk their talk. This is purely a personal effort, not link to any organisation or site.

Personally to hell with all these bureaucracy! What is important, to me , is to give this rather rare species a chance to survive..........everything else is nonsense!

Cheers!

u fussy lah..

recent pix got nothing to do with gear, still pretty much shooting the same way..
but have been denoising and sharpening more aggressively in post.
that's why the lancer still lacks a shine..
so still to explore the cam some more..

a purple duke, hanging upside down..
