Under the prevailing strong wind , taking a shot under the gusty condition is at best a hit or miss affair at slow shutter speed.

After many frustrated attempts caused by motion blur, decided to push the limit of the shallow DOF of T180 at wide open in order to get some decent shutter speed for this Leopard Lacewing swaying in the wind.

Here are 3 attempts at various apertures , all shot handheld with lull in wind.

Sharing two upper shots of the Horaga syrinx maenala (Ambon Onyx).

Normally at this time of the year it starts to make its appearance at certain parts of Singapore.
