Bobby, these are fabulous shots, I like the mating Cabbage White the most.

Terry,

Congratulation for nailing both silverlines in a single outing!

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

The butt photos from the Sharing a Few Butterflies series are getting better and better. I used to see good photos from Bluesteel, and there are so many photographers who can take good butterflies photos.

Bluesteel must be mentoring them hard!

Kudos to you, Bluesteel.

blurboiboi, great shots of both Silverlines! One will never bored looking at Silverlines photos!

Very nice butterflies. I like the tails a lot. Was this in a park or in nature?

cheers, Mark

Mark,

Though we have butterfly parks here in Singapore featuring some showy butterflies that are non native. The photographers here prefer the challenge of capturing local butterflies in the wild.

Yes all these are taken in the wild , except a few shots under the Save the Harlequins Project where some photographers were invited to shoot them when they were released into the wild.

Cheers!

Terry's shots are getting better day by day! Just goes to show that with proper mentoring, learning curves need not be steep. Take a bow Sifu Bluesteel!

Bob,

This thread perhaps have stirred up Terry's interest , and I concur that his shots and many others like James , Bobby, Mark, Benedict , Liphing , Henry, to name a few, are improving by leaps and bound .

Mark's skills is through his own hard work, perseverance, and learning , perhaps along the way a pointer or two from the senior Butterfly shooters.

I met Terry only once!:embrass: If anyone should take a bow for the standard of butterfly shots, it should be Terry and the individual shooters that posted their works here .

Cheers!
