Its getting cheaper nowadays,.. i think the full set should cost around $1200? plus the VF
Online reviews will not do this camera justice... you have to feel it for yourself.. feel the magnesium alloy body, feel how user friendly the UI .. if you are nikon user, you will find the dials very useful. :thumbsup:

I used a 46mm Hoya R72 filter with a 46 to 37mm step-down ring I'll try to post a pic of the set-up tomorrow

thanks for the kind comments. The GRD is a great joy to use. Light, compact, yet easy to use and it produces great pictures.

yur poto also look not bad

colours r very contrasting.

maybe to some eyes, they might say some potos r saturated

but i think overall, yur pic is good

because

the EDGES of the objects in yur poto is SHARP

did u do any editing?

yur landscape pic is good

i do really like it
is the AMBIENCE of it tht impress me.
the ambience of the poto is brought up clearly
sometime, i myself cant even visualise the atmosphere with my own bare eyes
but actually, u did it just by snapping these picture

one of the poto i like was:
1 of yur pic in japan or korea, whereby theres a long train, duno wat izit call
i can sense the weather, the environment, the surroundings, n the mood.
if all yur pic could be more clear,
PERFECT liao

anyway, isit yur iso settings still regarded as high, thts why i could still see noise?​

Well, personally those fotos that i posted totally have NO editing done, maybe got 1 i did "auto contrast", that's abt it, and of cos just resized from the 7++mega pixel to 800x500something. i usually shoot in 3:2 format. So the saturation and all is really as it is captured lah. Contrasty photos ah? personally i like high contrast images lah, just like my lumix LC1 which was sold (think the LC1 has an even higher contrast).

yes the shinkansen fotos can be a bit grainy cos i pumped up the iso. but if i dun do it, i can't freeze the shinkansen trains travelling at over 200km/h.

noise level for this cam starts to be evident abt iso400 and above. iso 200 still ok to me lah. personally i feel the noise levels for this cam is pretty good already, except i tink it lose out to fujifilm F10, 11 and 30.

Nice cam to hold, and i just wished it had a even better f-stop value like f1.4 or say put in a bigger sensor.

i dun want specifications, i wan those who use it n tell me more bout the feel of it

i own a fuji v10

Quite like it cause it kind of easy to operate

but is the malfunction of the ccd tht comes on n off makes me fustrate, went n repair, haven get back

my hands now is rather itchy

Feel? Lightweight and discreet. Packed full of functions within that range. The feel was superb when you don;t wanna lug that heavy SLR on the street

Sorry took so long to post the pic, very busy lately :sweat:

Anyway, here are a couple of pics of the setup:

Basically, the setup is the same for the 21mm wide-converter. Just replace the 21mm with an IR filter, plus a converter to step-down to 37mm. As u can see, I'm using a 46mm(that's the smallest IR filter Hoya is producing) filter with a 37-46 converter. If u have a 52mm filter, u will need to to get a 37 to 46, and a 46 to 52 converter.
