Went to the Museum to test out the 7D. Since most of the places here does not allow flash photography, this is one of the best places to test out the sensor and noise control of the 7D.
It's only after going thru the images on the iMac that one has to appreciate the noise control on the 7D.
None of these photos were editted except for resizing to fit into this browser.
Please note that the actual full-sized images are sharper than the resized ones.
Colours and white balance is very accurate too considering the fact that it was lighted up with spotlights.
Camera : EOS 7D
Lens : 18-135 kits lens
Aperture : F4
Speed : 1/5 sec (hand-held as I didn't bring tripod)
ISO : 800
Flash : Off (no flash allowed)
Remarks : Was simply amazed with the detail of the tapestry/warrior gowns on display. Wanted to shoot with a smaller aperture, but since it was a flat focus, decided to leave it at F4. Maybe I should have stopped down to F8 or something like that.
Custom Pattern downloaded from Canon site.
Camera : EOS 7D
Lens : 18-135 kits lens
Aperture : F4
Speed : 1/13 sec (hand-held as I didn't bring tripod)
ISO : 3200
Flash : Off (no flash allowed)
Remarks : Actual lighting condition in the Photography Gallery was rather dimmed. Had to increase exposure to +1/3 stops.
Gosh, I had to imagine what would have happened if all cameras are this size. Imagine the size of the camera bag

LOL
