Nice panos ... I like this, it depicts the inherent chaotic nature of a market (if it is indeed a market) ...

hi,i have been looking at the photos in this thread. i have been thinking of getting Rf cameras cos many said that its stealth and size makes it easy to make good photos of ppl. so far, your shots are the only ones that really inspires. thanks for sharing!

Good to know this thread is inspiring more and more people into RF.hi,i have been looking at the photos in this thread. i have been thinking of getting Rf cameras cos many said that its stealth and size makes it easy to make good photos of ppl. so far, your shots are the only ones that really inspires. thanks for sharing!
Thanks for writing the rest of us off mate ;p
Kidding lah.... to be honest, that is a really good series. If u want to see some inspiring street/docu work, look at terence's blog. He uses all sorts of cameras for his work and its really
guess i just don like the idea of shooting ppl without them knowing or their permission...
honesty is a virtue mate. And if we can't take criticism we shouldn't be posting. I tend to agree with you about the lack of eye contact. I especially agree with one famous photographer (Capa) who used to say, if its not good enough, you're not close enough.thanks..i thought had before writing this post cos i know sure offend some ppl. but seriously, i was looking forward to more inspiring street photography shots.
pardon my honesty....most of the shots post were like either walk alone the road just snap kind or sheepishly shooting ppl w a RF kind without any eye contact or what so ever.
i mean i know one of RF strength is stealth, but still....sorry to all....
just to add that there are some others that are nice too....just that these 2 pics like 'wow' kind. guess i just don like the idea of shooting ppl without them knowing or their permission...

Yes, Clubgrit, well said... I totally agree with what you wrote, "different ways of looking at a photography or even when looking at one"Not to worry, all different ways to approach in taking a photograph or even when looking at oneAll have different views ...
IMHO, the essence of street shooting is to take the so-called Moment, and many shots will not have eye contact - otherwise, it meant they posed for the photographer, or are indifferent, or are just plain surprised. Of course, there will still be great pictures even when posed.
Ifirdauzi's shots are very good, though. Check out his portfolio, wonderful street shots.
