Shot on Agfa Vista 400. I really like the tonality of this film.

I share the same sentiments Chickenrice. I'll go to his site to look at the same stuff over and over and over again.

Im thinking of the 35mm 1.2 for my Zeiss ikon! *drool*

ervine, that was beautiful composition! Can be used as an advertisement shot for genting group! :)

Is there anyone using the Nokton 35mm f/1.2? I would like to see some pics taken by it

Haha nah... got some technical issues with it, had to push it digitally a fair bit. :(

But I was a little dissapointed with the theme park to be honest, esp after being to Six Flags in the US. Nothing has since compared. Haha!

Honestly, with the kind of price you pay for the rides, can't expect too much. :bsmilie:

Can you image that a room at the hotel only cost about S$50+ a night? I'm not a big fan of Genting, but it is a cheap escape for us, Singaporean. :)

0753 hrs at Frankfurt Airport after a long flight. No fun.

ISO 200, 1/60 sec, f/1.2. Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f/1.2 on Epson R-D1s.

Unadjusted and unsharpened monochrome JPEG image straight out of camera on standard setting.

Cheers,

Thanks Benny and Chiif, seems like the 35mm 1.2 is really a interesting lens, great depth field, OOF rendering with creamy bokeh, and great price to boot :)

Heres some more shots from my Nokton 40mm with Tri-X. This is seriously the most value for money lens in the CV lineup. Compact, fast, affordable. The bokeh seems fine to me, however its mostly subjective and I do like the bokeh anyway.

I'm saving up for an nokton 1.4 too, but may i ask how does the lens perform wide open? :D
The pictures do look sharp but i'd like to hear from those who have run tests on it!

How about color? Does it give good colors too?

Its said that the Multi Coated version of the Nokton 40mm is better suited for color but I'm using the Single Coated version so I can't really give any opinions.

But the SC version I'm using now seems to be terrific for B&W film. Most of my shots were wide open at night, f/5.6 to f/11 in the day. And yes the Nokton is a sharp lens.

No need to ask for too many opinions, just buy from Chiif and test out yourself! :bsmilie:
