This was taken in the French island of La Reunion in the South Indian Ocean. A plant is trying to grow between the cracks in the solidified lava on one of the most active volcano in the world.

Haven't been shooting and posting. Got a Nippon Kogaku 50f1.4 LTM recently and
I'm amazed by the natural glow from this lens at f1.4. Some hate it while others love it. Just to share.

After few cups of tea, I went walking around and spotted this snail under some bushes. So pushed my head in and shot this at f2.8.
The focal length is 75mm on RD1. Here's the result with some cropping and no other PP. Amazing sharpness and details...
