Beautiful shot, bro...shooting watches is also part of the reason for me to try out this lens...post some macro shots as few people use RF to shoot macro...still not up to DSLR macro standard in clubsnap photogallery...but RF fun.

I just share 3 more then:

Two pics with Visoflex II with Elmar 65mm with the 16471 adaptor - effect not as good but I got closer to the watch. I was told using bellow would be better - but the monster looks quite cumbersome. :bigeyes:

Hi funksoulava,

This one also replica lah, original one made in 1936 by officine panerai.:bsmilie:

Will show you the set up another day. I basically put the watch on a wooden platform (my coffee stool) and shot it indoors under a slightly shaded area near strong sunlight. Because the lens' largest aperture is F4, it will be impossible to shoot under low light (handheld ie) which would have been my preference.

Must be some technical limitation that caused Leica not to be able to make a faster macro lens.

The replica watch one I shot with my MP on tripod with the Visoflex II.
