Yesterday in cityhall manage to meet some of the fellow RF users. Many talk abt the sharpness and tone of these Leica glass. They are great lens, small and sharp and over price. Should check out those Medium format zeiss lense on b&w and its hard to turn back when u use one and see the results.

Managed to get a 50 lux ASPH. Been waiting for a new piece for months!!!

I love this lens!!! Very sharp but also very painful to my wallet!!

I took a two weeks trip very late last year to a place which made me feel so at some.. What greeted me when I landed were scooters.. rows and rows of scooters..

All pictures taken with a M6, 28 elmarit, 35 summicron-asph & 50 summicron and Tri-X.

Hmm... does it have infinity lock? May be a ver 1 which I heard is sweet lens! Ver. 4 should be similar size to the current ASPH.

Benny...35mm Ver. 1 cron is like ASPH...never try this Ver....not cheap even to this date...can see y now...

Sharp and contrasty yet subtle...

There's quite a few variant of this lens. It was quite confusing for me initially too. Almost ended up with a lemon. One of those screw mounts types that focus down to 0.65m. :bsmilie:

i prefer to see his eye or the face.. u should shout at him first before u squeeze shutter. he will look up.

Tried. I think he's a bit hard of hearing. Even when folks walk right up to him, he does not look up. I squatted till my legs were sore so I moved on. Sigh.... Maybe next time.
