OK... somethings that you will get better over time. But do remember these points...

1. Do NOT dry your negatives with fan or hair dryer.

2. Do NOT hang out of your window like drying clothes.

3. Hang in the room where air is still and make sure you vacuum your room, not sweep. Dust will stay in your room and you might not notice.

4. If possible dry in an aircon room.

5. Use wetting agent. Dip your negatives into the wetting agent solution after all those rinsing. Then shake the solution off from the reel. Make sure you Shake until all the excess water is shaken off. Do NOT use anything to wipe on the negatives anymore. Some people use their fingers. I used to do that, but my dry fingers with dead skin leaves lines on the negative in the end.

6. Make sure your negatives are dry before scanning. Takes at least 2 hours. Be patient.

7. Before you scan, blow off any dust from the surface of the negatives with dust blower. Make sure the surface of your scanning is dust free too.

8. Just remember... keep your room/house clean... it helps.

Good luck!

:)
