suletata,

your images are very very nice. is there a story behind them ? can you elaboarate.

raytoei
btw, i took a peek at the picture, and sprinkled some contrast
and brightness controls and it fits into a very bleak B&W photo.

Hi raytoei,

Tks for ur kind words. These were taken in a poor village in Vietnam, I was there while there were a charity group giving out free foods (rice, noodle, etc.) and candies for the kids. There were families who traveled 30 km by feet just to get there on time (you can see that the kids themselves did not even have any footwear at all). Well, it was a very emotional moment, so I took the photo.

Btw, thanks for the suggestion, it's just that I do not wanna mess w/ film. Cheers!

Hi!
I'm new to RF and to film. My dad has a M6 and I thought why not give it a try since I kinda like the many amazing photos captured by CSers in this RF forum.
So here's to share one of my first photos captured on film! Nothing compare to the nice pictures here but I will take time to learn more. :)

That's one very cool dad you have. That's just classic combination you have there.

A cold granite bench facing silent waters and unyielding skyscrapers.
A rigid wooden bench amidst manicured hedges and flanking scrubs.
A pair of troubled, brooding human-beings.

[ Never Regret Something That Once Made You Smile ]

Living life without regret is a way that we desperately should choose to live. Sometimes we choose to regret things that once made us smile, but now make us frown. It can be very hard not to regret the past, especially when we look back and realize how we think that things could have easily been different if we just did certain things.

Turn the regret that your feeling into positive momentum for your life, don't regret the person that once made you smile. Embrace the fact that if someone made you smile once then eventually someone will come into your life that will make you smile again.

Very nice! Did you use a light meter or guess the exposure?
