@raytoei : how did you learn to control the light like that? i always thought that shooting portraits with film was a hit and miss affair haha. looks classy though!

lucky lah... and also i brought a digital camera to preview first ....

actually the 120J is a cult-light as it has an actual bulb, produces nice light but a bit harsh. may buy a soft box over it.

i am even more impressed by the ringlight...see the latest slr shots thread.

Some shots i took. Test shots for de nikkor 5cm f1.4, there is this glow from this lens..which im unsure if its from the lightings...

Nice shots! looks like you've got focusing down pat. That's the Nikkor glow the famous 5cm f/1.4 sonnar is known for! if you stop the lens down half a stop the glow mostly disappears.

I saw the ringlight effect. Very nice and even Looking forward to seeing more portrait shots!
