Fuji Reala 100, f8, 1/50 (if my memory serves me right)

Just to share one with all the MF veterans here if I may. :embrass: Very inspired by some of the posts in this thread, got poisoned  and went hunting for a cheap MF body to start with. Managed to find a Yashica-A in almost mint condition for my 1st foray into MF. I was quite scared it wouldn't work initially. :bsmilie:

Nice, i always enjoy viewing your work.

Ayo, i don;t have beautiful gals to shoot. only still life, non-living object.

This is supposed to be the fine grain Pan F, but my cheapskate approach didnt do anything good to the film. The developer was recycled at least 3x before coming to this roll. :bsmilie:

Bukit Ho Swee 1-room flat.. hope it brings back some good memories?

p.s. if u couldn't see a pair of slipper on the ground, means your monitor is too dim.

Haven't process film for a long time but if I'm not remember wrongly when I need fine grain I'll use recycled developer(3-4 times maybe) to develope my film for a long time. Do you do that or is there any fine grain developer available. I've forgot all the name of the developer now, probably only HC-110 and T-Max that I can remember.

i have left a comment on your flickr page... but i must repeat this AGAIN....

WoW! She is beautiful!

I admire your work a lot. Not only the technical aspect, but the way you interact with your models and made appear on your photos. The eye contact and the emotions on their faces.

To me, as a photographer, the greatest challenge taking portraits is to make my model feel at ease and totally "undress" in front of my camera. I must say... you have done it very well... in fact.. too well. :)

Please post more pics of your inspiring work...

i thought the challenge is to estimate the dev time with those recycled solution. not easy to gauge the strength of the dev solution at hand. besides, 24degC with DD-X for PanF is about 5mins normal strength.. +50% is only 7.5mins, the level of sensitivity is high. i could have done it at 20deg or lower. next time...

Ya I was putting the solution back to the fridge till it turn about 18 degree then reuse it. Can't remember the timing but for the developer that had been recycled 2 times I think it was 3 time more than suggested developing time. Anyway this is trial and error, no reference at all.

I think the instructions for some developers will give you an estimate on how much longer you need to develop for when you re-use the developer. Either that or it's how much new developer to top up.

Ilford Perceptol is good for fine grain. Of course, all these fine grain stuff are great when enlarging prints, not really on a tiny picture on a computer screen, where even Kodak Tmax 3200 looks nice in a teeny weeny image.
