The tour guide (I assume) must be using a super wide angle lens...

btw, did you also go to Hong Chun (also under UNESCO protection) while in Huangshan city?

Always love how really slow shutter speeds can be achieved on TLRs with the strap + camera-on-tummy stance :D

Nicely captured! Was this in Kwan Ming San in SinMing?

Regretfully I did not because I did not have enough cash on me. Instead I waiting a few hours at the train station for the trip to Shanghai.

Would you be considering doing the same trip again in time to come?

Did you carry two bodies and two lenses plus X 2? Must be pretty fit to do that.
Although I usually carry only one F3.5 TLR traveling China, but for HuangShan really need to consider carry at least the 50/60mm.

Been to the Japanese Cemetery Park too often lately due to Japanese friends.

Yeap will definitely want to make another trip there. This time with the sole intention to shoot and not sight-seeing.

Let's see what I carried:

501 cm
503 cx
60mm
150mm
2x tele
3 backs
Manfrotto 055cxpro + gitzo head
misc stuff like color filters

And yes I almost died carrying these things and climbing 3 hrs to reach my hotel...

For Huangshan, a 50/60 and a 150 is a must. I'd say that I use my 150mm more than my 60mm.

I believe you have several other 'point' shots which you cannot post here. ;)

That is hack of a lot of things. I cannot do it for sure.

Do go do it while you can. :)

One picture in winter, Korea, 2001. Very cold at about -5C.
The Korean government just tore down the Japanese Governor Building, which block the palace right at he gate.

The negative showed significant aging. Click on image to see the intricate details.
