nice shots John,
amazing image quality from Arax...

Thank you Billy!

Got a couple of cork up shots. The UV was very strong and my transitional turned totally black all the time.
The lens needed a UV filter. Try again next time.

taken in pulau ubin long long ago and only sent for development last weekend, turns out okay for this shot though color a bit faded.

Nikkornos, the colors of your pictures really fascinate me:)

ahhong, thank you. You want to join us in this weekend LF outing? :)

There is no magic. Using Kodak E100VS and underexpose 1/3 to 1/2 stop.

Fotohub scan straight.
Pretty close to the original slide, but the original is far better.

I avoided ANY X ray scan during security check.
Stored film in the fridge of the hotel.
Process immediately when I am back.

Woa! How you managed to sweet talk and dodge all x-ray scan?!! The last trip I had in Kashmir region, with super tight security, I managed to avoid few x-ray scans but still have films scanned more than 10 times!!! But the results still turned out well, except that i didn't bring UV filter under ultra strong UV:confused:

Would want to join your guys for the outing if got time. Still need to confirm...

my favorite ..everything in good control in this shot. Look like Kodak E100VS is a good slide to try. had only use velvia before.

I was wearing business suit and I put all the film in a big zip long bag. Perhaps these helped.
Especially in Singapore side, they did hand check without questions.

Singapore side scanned 2 times going out
Arrived at Holland 1 scan
Leaving Holland 1 scan
Arrived at Singapore side 1 scan.

So Singapore side is the one we have to handle.
The are all 先敬罗衣 后敬人 + 狗眼看人低。

Thanks bro, I was hoping to do a E100VS in 4X5 or 6X9 night shoot.
I am swinging to E100VS than Velvia 50 now. :)
