thank you. i got 4x5 so I can do long exposures with film as reciprocity failures allow me to take exposures much longer than normal, the only drawback is the heavy vignetting.

210mm @ f5.6. Was trying the movements but only got both eyes each frog to be sharp.

My first 4x5 film developing results with ilfotec DD-X
some uneven developing... due to wrong developing tank used.

very straight lines now !
shanghai film very prone to scratches... have to be very careful in handling

Finally get my self a developing drum and try self developing. Results generally okay with minor scratches(yet to be confirmed, looks more like microfibers during loading/unloading of film:think:)

NICE! I read from China site that the Shanghai film should be loaded the other way round according to the instructions (reference to the v edge).

I have the pictures of the development tank and will post shortly.

all 4x5 films should be the same. :nono:

All sheet films should be emulsion side facing towards you when notch code is bottom right or top left in landscape view unless cutted.

another one to share. Too ambitious to get every detail in, resulting in over expose;)

Exactly, that's what I mean.

Many followed instruction and mounted wrong side and hence sensitivity dropped as well as resolution. Just to be sure.
