Awesome. U may want to give some
Back light to create a 3d effect.

Cheers

While we are at the topic on food... Some amateur images taken during a food outing with the NUS photographic society. Didn't take notice of the background and shadows, thus missed them out. :embrass:

lonely deepavali

This guy was sitting alone on the desk, seemingly idling around, thinking about something. It was kind of weird as it was Deepavali and the other Indians that day were in a group, chatting, having fun, eating. Maybe it was the rain that made him stay here?

Casually I approached him and asked him if I could take a picture, he at first said no and was preparing to go off, but I told him it was just for fun, and he agreed.

1/15 shutter speed thus the softness.

storm's a brewin'

@ Punggol End

It was a pretty long exposure, but with the lightning flying across the sky, it lit up the water thus breaking the stillness of the water recorded onto the film.

40 minute exposure

Thanks! I left just before the rain started coming down, wind was pretty strong.

Can join you guys for the next outing! Going to take some slides soon to try E6 too!

YES, I intend to shoot the Fuji velvia 4X5 old stock I have. Expired but in fridge.

See you!

if Mamypoko joins for the shoot....
once he open his shutter, we can all go buy some Roti Prata and eat...comes back .... and his shutter is still opened.. hahaha..

I can help him stack some ND filter. This way, we can chain his camera to a tree during the outing and go casuarina for prata before collecting it at the end of day.:bsmilie:

Mamypoko, I observed an improved sharpness, details and tones on this print.

You have improved your process. Tell us more.

I also have the Fujinon 75mm. Please page me when you do long exposure again.

Thanks, but I don't like to scan my slides, I still prefer a lightbox and loupe. :(

Grandpa on Velvia

One of first 3 slides developed at home using Fuji C6R chemicals.

This is the exact reason why I bought my Speed Graphic and the Aero Ektar.

Speed Graphic 4x5
Kodak Aero Ektar 178mm f/2.5
Fuji Velvia RVP50
Fujihunt C6R E6 Process DIY

Many thanks to losheng for the chemicals, zguy for mass ordering the film, wootsk for some tips on processing, and Seng Cheong for the stupidly big but only uses 250ml of solution Jobo drum!

Kodak Aero Ektar is an serial lens?? NICE!

(my only complain is uncle's head is against the white patch)

You mean aerial lens?

Yea, light was quite harsh when I shot, it was in the evening.

what kind of shutter is it using? The bokeh look so different from the SLR lenses where the bokeh tends to take on a hexagonal shape. here it seem to spilt the leafs at the top of the picture into streaks.
