Share some Japanese lens RF shots 1....

Ok, I got it now, "Ango Mo" is same as "Gweilo", then no offense at all Dave! After all, I am Ang Mo (hopefully not in the literal sense of the expression!).

Yeah bro.. Kiasu is "scared to lose" mentality. All in harmless fun. Hope you don't mind bro.

Here's the results show. Think Gommy got it right the second time!!! But the rest were really really close.

Hey guys! Just finished scanning my pictures.. This is the first time using a Nikon coolscan 5000 ED, still new to it. Took a very long time..

Taken with Nikkor 5cm f/1.4 and Tri-X. This lens is very fun and interesting to use!

Cheers:D

Very sharp indeed from your Nikkor...I never like scanning...still struggling to scan myself too...the scan crop my 35mm film because of the V700 film holder...pink tint on my color slide scan (need color calibration?)...need someone to provide a few pointers.

:D

Mr. Gommy, you very James Bond covert these days.
Silent, fast and deadly chope. Don't even give people chance to breathe. :o

Ms Nakano KWYLee, did you agree to this??

Yeah the cropping part is quite a hassle. After scanning, have to crop every single picture.. :O I haven't done color scanning but I heard it's much more troublesome.. I will look up the search engine and tell you if I find anything interesting!:D

wow. surprised the J-3 bokeh is smoother than the CZJ

Exactly!! That's why I flipped my answer after reviewing Dave's Canon f1.5 vs J3.

Nikkor 50 f 1.4 LTM on M3 and TriX, starting to experiment with room temperature (semi stand) development, wanted to develop in Rodinal (but ran out, I think Neoro formula is getting excellent results) so used HC110 1+100 dilution @29C, 12.5 mins, agitation only in first 10 seconds, getting some nice tones and grain quite under control, thought shadow detail would be more preserved though...(apologies for stain, test roll, found some old undeveloped rolls of TriX in fridge)

Of course yes!!... not too happy with sharpness and grain but tones ok, not enough range in shadows,...I am about to try HC-110 Dilution G as well with little agitation only at beginning.....PM me how to come get the Rodinal from you...thanks a bunch yiming, appreciate it!

Man this sounds fun...
Tonight I feel like doing some R&D on Pushing Tri X on MF on Rodinal to evaluate how harsh the grains really come out..

Time to go buy some Bananas...
