Wow, Lydialee... yes indeed, yes indeed. And born with plenty of additional flavours too.
I better stop thinking about them, cos I think it's better to keep a wonderful memory of the rojak on my palate. Haha...

ady monster, this is a nicely captured angle yah!
Hmmm... I am still trying to figure out which 'monster' our ady monster is... ;)

... Tanjong Uma fishing village

Of course our taste buds are still lingering at Rojak Lane.
But it must be kept in mind that the two groups did our shooting in reverse sequence, so while Group 1 was at Rojak Lane, I think Group 2 was already at Tanjong Uma. So, just to complete the picture first, we will also start the write up on Tanjong Uma.

These are some of the information from David, our guide. Any one of our fellow members who have got more information on this interesting fishing village, please do share with us, or correct me if any of my info are not in order.
According to David, this Tanjong Uma is a small little fishing village that used to be one for boats and fishermen to passed by on their way out to sea and while on their way back. It began to build up size in the 40's and was a hub of activity. In this modern days, fishing activity has dwindled and many of the young villagers have left to the bigger cities to work, leaving the children and some older folks still here.
The village houses are all on stilts with wooden-planked platforms as the walkways between the houses. And when the tide comes in, the sea water will rise to just below the platforms. And when the tide goes out, what is left is a whole lot of garbage strewn across the bed of the shallow shore on which the houses are built.

Here, is another map of the geographical relation of Tanjong Uma and Rojak Lane..

Group 1: On our way to Tanjong Uma from Rojak Lane...

Our minibus drove up the sloping road of a hill en route to Tanjong Uma. It happened that the minibuses for both groups crossed path somewhere along this hilly road and we waved to each other... don't we all remember that moment? ;)
And Melvin got the driver to stop by the road side to shoot some views from the top of the hill.
Here is my share of the scene.

... and our good friend's running nose feeing much better with the breeze flowing gently caressing his sinuses while standing on top of the hill at Tanjong Uma...
Again 535nm IR on Lensbaby..

Just atop the hill where we stop was a local village lady selling some local drink by the roadside.
After shooting the panoramic scenery, the whole lot of us overwhelmed this lady by shooting her crazy.
Here, is the thorn among the roses, trying his best to capture the flavoured-drink of the moment...
This thorn... he was wearing bright orangey-pink on that day meh?

This was the lady stall keeper selling the drinks. A record shot. Don't know what she was selling.

Like ady monster, I also took a shot through the mirror of the motorbike. Only difference is that ady monster her shot was of a local village teenager, but my shot was of myself. Kekeke..:bsmilie:

Actually when I came to the village I was a little shocked because everything was messy and there was rubbish all over the place.
Like what my Limwhow said to me, this was like a slum like that. And here is one of my shots trying to show myself the rubbish and spoilt boats.
