Sekupang Jetty

Some of my 535nm IR shots with UWA.
This is that jetty on Batam island where we set off towards Pulau Penawar Rindu.

... and looking back as we were on the sampan vroom-vrooming towards Pulau Penawar Rindu..

Finally... the jetty of the small island...

Wah... David the guide was so happy because he said this is not his usual tour group. And it is very seldom that he comes to this part of Batam, and it reminded him of his home town at Tanjong Pinang. Here he was so exhilarated...

I tried a shot using my ELP IR because there are so many sampans docked at the jetty.

Wah, this shot is beautiful. Very got feeling, this shot. My attraction gets drawn right to the older sister on top and filter slowly down to the other children.

I don't see in Singapore they use this stone to grind and mixe all the ingredient but this is how they done.

When you first walk into the village and see all the rubbish surrounding them, you feel a bit disgusted at the surroundings and sorry for the residents. You wonder what kind of life they lead and why they allow this. However when you see the children and how happy, carefree and innocent they are it really brightens up the place.
