SGTrekker 15D Ladakh Delhi Agra Jaipur Photography Trek

Thank you Sok Peng! More coming as you wish!

It was drizzling lightly when we arrived at the Taj Mahal, which explains the gloomy overcast sky. Local and international tourists alike filled the place, trying to get the classic memory sakes against this majestic piece of historial architecture in the background. It was definitely a challenge for many of us to get a clean shot of the Taj. Despite this less fortunate circumstances, however, I think being able to stand and watch this magnificent monument while actually being there myself with my two feet firmly on its ground was one surreal experience to remember. Before that moment, I could imagine what it would feel like. But for once on that very day, it was like a dream come true! Here are some of my takes of this impressive work of the people of India. Hope you enjoy them!

Upon entering this beautifully decorated gate, there lies the world renowned Taj Mahal before your very eyes.

An old Indian lady walking across the Taj Mahal. She's a little off-centred though. Sighs. Gotta work on my timing!

If you stand where the strong light paths crossed at about 2/3 from the top of the frame, you would see what I saw in the previous photo.

He was just sitting there, oblivious of my presence, like he was deep in thought or something.

Continue Day 3 afternoon. After the morning Agra Fort shoot, we went to MacDonalds, nearby our hotel for breakfast. Back to hotel to grab an hour power nap and met at hotel lobby at 2 pm to depart to Fatehpur Sikri. It was raining (rather heavzy drizzle, though not heavy rain). We need to put on our poncho as the rain does not seem to stop anytime.

I used CPL, too lazy to pull GND out of my bag; then bracketed 3 shots. GND is done in software, plus some contrast.

Thanks washi. Too bad you missed the delicious and fun dinner gathering so see you on the durian gathering then :)

Looks like SK's dormant trekking genes have been awakened

haha, say say only lah. Just to borrow your good friend's favorite line..."Comfort comes first" :)

Very nice scenery. Please keep them coming.

Daoyin,
my fellow trekkies on the Ladakh leg have been quite busy lately, let me keep you entertained for now :)

Yes yes :) Definitely speaks volumes of the grand-ness of the scene!

haha, i was just joking. the grand-ness of the scene has nothing to do with my lens or my skill....it is simply GRAND :)
