I was told by the locals that 70% of the population lives below proverty line.. this is quite common sight that people sleep anywhere, everywhere.

After a very very hot encounter at Rajghat, we took an auto to visit the Jama Masjid Mosque, which is our last stop on this tour.

The Jama Masjid, another favorite tourist attraction is situated opposite the Red Fort in the capital city- Delhi. Built by Shah Jahan, the Jama Masjid exhibits another Mughal architectural splendor. The mosque is known to be one of the largest and oldest in India. The Jama Masjid is open to tourists on all days except the prayer intervals. At the mosque the tourists are requested to open their shoes and cover their feet and arms before entering Jama Masjid. It is done as an act of reverence for the Muslim faith.

So as we entered, we were given a piece of cloth to cover ourselves. oh gosh, the cloth looks dirty and ugly man!

at the entrance

upon entering, you will see a very big courtyard. it is almost impossible to walk on the ground without shoes! so even as we stepped on the pathway (laid by carpet), we can still feel the heat as it was a very very hot day. I can feel my sole burning.

LAST PICTURES ... OUR FINAL DEPARTURE TO AIRPORT FOR HOME SWEET HOME. The hotel helped us to hire a taxi which can take 8 of us.
The driver came and saw us with all our luggages and said " cant take you to airport, you have too many luggages."
Oops..... now what? Adrian went to check with hotel staff. Donno what the staff told the driver lah... eventually the driver said "ok , load all your luggages".. Guess what. On top of the taxi.

so the luggages were stacked nearly on top of taxi and secured with a thin rope.
