Sex and The City: The Movie

Last night, I attended the red carpet premiere of "Sex and The City" movie at SM Megamall, Philippines.

Great movie, about 2 hours long. Anyone up for spoilers?

I had been following this TV series since the 1st season, the actresses are quite daring in their words and their quest to persue for perfect love.

Will be watching the movie soon.

Hope you get to see the film in its entirety. The one shown here got a some cuts, particularly on some scenes regarding Samantha.

Basically, they crammed like one full season of episodes to a 2-hour time frame. The songs are great and of course, lots of funny moments!

Right now I'm telling you, you may not eat nachos the same way before.

I'm feeling that the style of the intros of the film will find its way to TV shows and commercials...

Update: Just got word that the shoes featured in the film (the Manolos placed in Carrie's boutique-style closet) is up for bidding wars online.

Ever since Carrie gave up on her supposedly Mr Super Right, I kind of think the drama is a bit far fetched.

Wonder if the movie will correct that.

Carrie becomes pregnant and gets worried about a possible miscarriage. Miranda and Steve break-up but eventually reconcile after a few months. Sam leaves Smith because she loves herself more, and add a sexually-frustrated dog to the equation! And Carrie and Big were to have a great wedding at the New York Public Library but Big has doubts, Carries becomes devastated, and goes with the girls on her supposed to be honeymoon in Mexico! And months later they get married by a judge!

don't mind me, but i really don't think very highly about the series nor the movie. i just don't like how this series has warped the mindsets of women all around the world and especially in singapore. i know i'm going to get flamed for this, but what the heck. freedom of speech.
