Server Too Busy Messages

In the past two days I have been getting a lot of "Sever Too Busy" messages. I'm wondering if this is just me since no one has mentioned it. This is especially prevalent at night and I gave up surfing last night before 1.30am

I do hope this will be alleviated. I would prefer a slow loading page to the server busy as that will require a lot of attention (keep pressing F5).

Dear All,

The CS administrators will look into this matter and we will update you in due course. I would venture to guess that because its the school holidays and well, everyone is online, and hence the message but of course, we will definitely take a look and see how we can alleviate this matter.

Meanwhile, it is interesting to see how different people asks question differently.

We have been experiencing regular spikes in server loads and the Server Busy Messages are just an interim measure to make sure the site doesn't fall over when it happens.

Suffice to say, this will take quite some time for me to investigate so we appreciate everyone's patience with us during this period.

wat abt i say this, did u all realise tat the server busy message come out only at 11pm and strangely disappear at around 12?

this is because the world cup ended at that time!!! and everyone come in here and log in to clubsnap and surf.. and by the time of around 12, things become peaceful again...[ that is because they gota rush and go watch the 2nd match!!]

so whose fault? ITS THE WORLD CUP FAULT!!!

Maybe can implement some kind of graphics of usage... :think: . So we know when is a "busy hour" daily, "busy day" weekly, "busy month" yearly.

My observation is that since CS's recent relocation of it's server, the "Server is Busy" message and worse, the site is down message, has become an everyday common occurance.

Granted, school is out now and usuage is generally higer during these times, but I did not see these problems last year.

Other than server load problems, I see more and more people simple quote an entire message and give a one line response. But quoting that much text, lot's of bandwidth and storage is wasted. Something has to be done. I dont have a solution, these are merely my observations.

I've got it too. And when it happens, I cannot get into any page in the forum, but when I get back to the webpage again some other day, I could surf the forum again. It seems to be happening at random.

Me too too too, I encounter this since last 2 weeks.
And when I click on the post reply just wanted to enter all these text, all get this message again.
"The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later."
Refreshed for more than 20 times before finally get the page display.:angry:
