what is the time gap you used between each shot for the stars section ?

Hope you don't mind me giving just a little comment, there is some noticeable flickering in some of the scenes especially in the beginning ...

hey ryan thanks for the comment yup I have been having some issue in my timelapse with the flickering, I tried using deflick in AE during post but it didn't really work.
The time gap between each shot for the stars are from 30secs to 42secs

You can consult the expert like petty poh, he knows how to solve it by using LR Timelapse.

What camera are you using ? If you use Nikon D750 or D810, maybe you can try to see if the smoothing function works ?
