I think the ERR is shown because the body cannot detect the lens AF???(cannot focus when this ERR is shown)
coz it does show how many pictures I can take with the CF...

it is a new CF lor..just bought like 2 weeks ago

You use simi len? Got put the aperture ring to the min bo? But this should show you FEE. :think:

i tried both the 50mm and kit lens..both same problem, also confirmed aperture ring set to min also...

the ERR is shown on the shutter and aperture info column...symtom - cannot focus, once shutter button is pressed the ERR prompt comes out..

then after awhile, a semi-shutter slap is heard, then camera okie already

Still under warranty, try sending in lor. Alternatively, do a hard reset on your camera and see.

yeah...think better send in fast...3 mths not long..somemore i bought like 1 mth back..left 2 mths..

there is a button underneath the camera which is not flush with the base...
