sure not? .... ignore wireless ... i'm using mainly wired connections at home unless friends come over to game or use the internet
That's weird, how come the speed is so slow via Cat 5E. It shouldn't be that slow. What sort of switches are you using?

i know 5E enough... but cat 6 better ma... hee hee..

i know you want more muscles for your mor-der poses .. don't need to be so discreet mah! :bsmilie:

CAT 6 cables very stiff to fit into trunkings and normal usage ... i'll stick to 5E for now ...

Come to think of it, don't know them too well, paiseh to ask them keep a look out also.
Besides, 3 x D2h, doubt they want to bring back.
Will give this a skip for now.

or ask espn lor... need to keep him occupied else he will become a 3000W daylight-rated halogen light bulb.

What's the price range you all expecting to get for the D2h over there?

espn, got free space to squeeze a D2H ?

The PC might be the cause, what are you running on the P3? 100 x 5? or 133 x 4?

u got any program running behind which is storming the n/w...

hmm, that may be the reason too... cos if the server could not handle the speed... the client will have to slow down the speed the have a stable transfer... 3-way hand-shake rule..

Switch might not be configured properly also could cause the issue.

HDD probably can't match the speed, if it's a ATA66 don't expect it to match the CAT5 speed consistently.
