Bro, i think i found the antidote already... think about it this way.
1) you need money for baby nightwolf
2) you dun do this for a living
3) even if you get a D2H now, can you recover yr cost knowing that depreciation happens fast
4) After listening to ESPN about the specs for the D200, do you want to wait?
5) Sleeping with D2H does not make you happier than Sleeping with a D200..
1) Very true
2) laggi true, I understand it's personal gratification
3) nobody here covers back their costs except pros like scanner
4) disclaimer: I DIDN'T say anything about D200 specs. Nonetheless, a consumer body is never comparable with a pro body, for Nikon that is.
5) It does. Trust me, it does.

Not advisable for this type of roaming... if not wrong, per minute charge is SG$0.50 and a one off connecting fees of SG$1.20 each dial-up. On top of that you still need to pay hotel local telephone charges which is HK$5/call/minute in HK. One of my many trip to HK, I was stupid enough to use this stupid ipass roaming to connect to singnet, the charges is SG$160++ on top of it, the HK hotel local phone charges amount to HK$300+
My advise, not to bring the notebook overseas unless you want to do some business or skype call via the internet.
For access to Sentosa thread, most cafes like pacific cafe, etc comes with free internet access, if not you can always rent the local internet cafe which go by the hour. Else if you really have to bring the notebook, it is always more worthwhile paying a full day unlimited usage of the internet. Most hotel got this service. For HK Royal Pacific Hotel the charges is HK$120 / 24hr connection (Wireless Connection). Check with the counter for this service. The 24hrs time starts from your 1st logon and lasted for the next 24hrs, if you plan properly, a 4days 3nights HK trip, you only need to pay for $240 (48hrs) logon and that can easily last you for the whole trip.
Going to prepare to head out. Check back in here in a bit
The quakes? didnt realize it there was a big one until PFC told me late last night. Thought I felt some trembling during lunch. Too far up north to affect my area.
