Depending on the rain, light drizzle is still ok for me. Also have to see how bad do you baby your equipment.

yup.. super ex.. the 67mm is about $100plus..

I bought a small one, 48mm or something last time and it already cost me abt $50 ;p

R72 & canon 28-135 with 300D have a high chance of "hot spots". Exposure time will be EXTREMELY LONG for canons.... 50/1.8 will be a better choice for canon IR....
