IR filters were DIRTILY cheap. Untill they jacked it up sky high.

TMC: Why scold the salesperson? He shoved it up your ass? I tried the AF-S 80-200 with TC 1.7X before.

nope, kept telling me that it wouldnt work. but didnt bring my AFS that day to test it out so I couldnt shut him up. Sigh.....wish I could get the IR filter dirt cheap too. the Hoya R72 looks real nice.

Depending on filter size, a 77mm can cost a whopping S$270.
